Spot Power is licensed to retail electricity in Calgary, Edmonton, FortisAlberta and ATCO Wires Distribution Territories. Applications have been filed with the city of Lethbridge and Red Deer.

How can we sell electricity at lower prices?

We are small, efficient and agile. We have the advantage of not being burdened by old legacy systems or carrying massive overheads. We are not saddled with multiple layers of bureaucracy plus a growing debt that needs to be serviced.

CAUTION: Some months our prices may be higher, as they will fluctuate monthly. All regulated rate prices are directly linked to the volatility in the wholesale market which is driven by the balance between 'Supply & Demand'. If our prices climb, you will undoubtedly find the Investor Owned Utilities will likewise increase their rates.
